One Response to Are your coconuts rotten??? (Video)

Thanks for this instructive video. We have a coconut tree on our property here in South Florida and I am ashamed to say for years have just thrown away all the coconuts. Our attitude has changed and will now utilize them as a food source. Note – We use the fibrous husk of the older coconuts as mulch and the younger ones as a natural fertilizer. I never considered checking if the meat was rotten so your instruction is timely and excellent. After spending about 45 minutes trying to chip out the meat of a mature coconut, I started searching to see if there was a tool to make things easier…I found your website and will order one. Your videos are convincing and appreciate the time you spent to make them. I will now give the coconuts a closer check to see if they are rotten. So far, they are fine and delicious! We are so fortunate to have this wonderful source on our property. Thanks again.
